The new-generation Citroën C5 Aircross is now available to order in Portugal. Hybrid variants and a new all-electric version are offered in this market. Prices start at €33,490, with the first deliveries expected before the end of this year.
That starting figure applies to the 145 hp hybrid model, which uses a 48 V mild-hybrid system combining a turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine with an automatic gearbox, in You trim. With the same powertrain, Citroën also offers the better-equipped and more expensive Plus, Business and Max trim levels.

The most significant addition to the new Citroën C5 Aircross range is the all-electric model, with 157 kW (213 hp), a 73 kWh battery and a 520 km range. It is likewise available in the same four trim levels, with prices ranging from €40,690 to €46,790. The full table is shown below:
Larger dimensions and a redesigned interior
The new Citroën C5 Aircross generation is now based on the STLA Medium platform, also used by the Peugeot 3008, for example, and adopts a more aerodynamic, sophisticated design. Its dimensions have grown too: length now measures 4.65 m and width reaches 1.90 m, increases of 152 mm and 62 mm respectively.
Those increased dimensions benefit the cabin, which provides more room, particularly for rear-seat passengers. At the front, the brand describes the layout as the “C-Zen Lounge” concept, featuring Advanced Comfort seats and a large new vertically oriented touchscreen called Waterfall, integrated into a redesigned dashboard. According to Citroën, it is also more ergonomic.
Among the key driver-assistance systems available are VisioPark 360°, long-range blind-spot detection, semi-automatic lane-change assistance and the new Citroën Matrix LED headlamps.
Citroën C5 Aircross will gain more versions in 2026
During the coming year, the new Citroën C5 Aircross line-up will expand with a new plug-in hybrid system, as well as a more powerful electric powertrain.
The plug-in hybrid will deliver a combined maximum output of 195 hp and may exceed 100 km of all-electric range in urban driving. Meanwhile, the all-electric variant will receive a new 170 kW (231 hp) motor which, together with the larger-capacity 97 kWh battery, will be capable of a maximum range of 680 km.
The new-generation Citroën C5 Aircross is built at Citroën’s historic factory in Rennes, France, and incorporates recycled materials during manufacturing: 160 kg of metals and 47 kg of recycled or bio-sourced plastics. The brand says this demonstrates its environmental commitment.
