Citroën had already previewed a more affordable ë-C3, although one key step was still missing: its arrival in Portugal. That is no longer in doubt.

Named the Citroën ë-C3 Urban Range, it is now available to order, with prices starting from €19,990.

Citroën ë-C3 Urban Range battery and driving range

This new model completes the ë-C3 electric line-up, which had previously consisted solely of the “Comfort Range” version, featuring a 44 kWh battery and up to 326 km of range on the WLTP cycle.

Compared with it, the more affordable ë-C3 claims up to 212 km of combined WLTP range, using a lower-capacity 30 kWh battery. It supports charging at 7.4 kW on alternating current (AC) and up to 30 kW on direct current (DC).

Its electric motor is unchanged, delivering the same 83 kW (113 hp) and 125 Nm of torque, while top speed is limited to 135 km/h.

Equipment levels for the Citroën ë-C3 Urban Range

The new Citroën ë-C3 Urban Range is offered in two trim levels: You and Plus. The former includes a head-up display, automatic headlights, electrically adjustable door mirrors and driver-assistance systems such as active lane-departure warning.

The Plus version adds a 10-inch touchscreen, heated door mirrors, a rain sensor and automatic high-beam control, among other features.

Both versions - Urban Range and Comfort Range - are also offered as a Van model (N1 homologation) for professionals in the goods-delivery sector, from €23,300.

What is the starting price?

In Portugal, the Citroën C3 range starts from €15,490 in You trim, fitted with a 100 hp combustion engine. Discover the prices for the full range:
