Leapmotor, which is partly owned by Stellantis, is preparing to expand its line-up with what will be its most powerful model yet: the C10 AWD. Its two electric motors deliver a combined maximum output of 430 kW (585 hp), with the additional unit fitted to the front axle. At this level, only the Smart #5 Brabus comes to mind as being more powerful, with 475 kW (646 hp).
Leapmotor C10 AWD power and performance
The second motor gives the Leapmotor C10 four-wheel drive - as the AWD badge had already suggested - along with sports-car acceleration: it completes 0–100 km/h in exactly four seconds.
800 V architecture and charging
Built on a platform featuring an 800 V architecture, the C10 has an 81.9 kWh LFP battery that supports rapid charging, although Leapmotor has not stated its maximum charging power. It has, however, confirmed that charging from 30% to 80% can be completed in just 22 minutes.
The brand also says this performance is maintained even in extreme cold, without requiring battery preheating.
When will the C10 AWD arrive?
The Leapmotor C10 Design 81.9 kWh AWD is scheduled to reach its home market in the final quarter, although prices have yet to be announced. Its official debut is planned for the Zurich Motor Show in October 2025.
While we wait to test Leapmotor’s most powerful model yet, revisit our first drive of the rear-wheel-drive version, with one motor and “just” 218 hp, conducted last year during its international presentation in Milan.
