Ford has introduced the special-edition Puma Sound Edition in Italy. This limited-run compact crossover is offered with both the mild-hybrid powertrain and the fully electric Puma Gen-E.
Ford Puma Sound Edition audio system
Its defining feature is a 650 W Bang & Olufsen sound system with ten speakers, including a subwoofer and new mid-woofers in the front doors. The system has been calibrated for the cabin characteristics of the Puma and Puma Gen-E. It also includes the Beosonic function, offering four audio profiles: Excited, Relaxed, Warm and Powerful.
Exterior and interior details
On the outside, the edition is finished in Metropolis White with a black roof and Magnetite-finish alloy wheels. Inside, it receives Metal Grey fabric seats; the Puma has a black headlining, while the Gen-E uses a light-coloured one.
Ford Puma Sound Edition prices and powertrains
The engine line-up matches that of the standard models. The entry-level 1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid, producing 125 hp and paired with a manual gearbox, is priced from €27,600. The version with the Powershift automatic transmission starts at €29,350, while the electric Gen-E is available from €31,700.
