Porsche is preparing an electric version of the Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT, scheduled to debut in mid-2027. A prototype of the model has been spotted during winter testing. The new flagship SUV will use a fully electric powertrain.
Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT electric powertrain
The Turbo GT variant is expected to feature two electric motors. Combined output will exceed 857 hp in continuous operation and more than 1,156 hp at peak output when Launch Control is activated. According to the source, total power could surpass 1,200 hp.
Active aerodynamics and braking
The prototype retains active aerodynamic components, including vertical flaps in a system that operates with Launch Control, as well as an adjustable rear spoiler. Drilled brake discs are also visible on both axles.
Cayenne interior and expected range
Inside, it will adopt the layout of the new Cayenne, with three digital displays. The front seats will have increased side bolstering, while the rear is likely to be configured for two occupants, without a centre seat.
Range is expected to be at least 600 km. The model will rival the electric Mercedes-AMG GT SUV, which is due to arrive earlier and has been announced with around 1,400 hp.
